Maipo has produced more than 25 films and is one of Scandinavia’s leading production companies. Maipo produces animated feature films, series, live action family films and award-winning art house flicks. In 2013 Maipo premiered one of the biggest box office hits in Norwegian film history, the stop motion puppet animation Louis & Luca’s Christmas, the critically acclaimed animation feature Hocus Pocus, Alfie Atkins, and a series about Alfie. Two more films about Louis & Luca have followed.
